From the South: Leave the M6 at Junction 36 signposted Kendal and the Lake District (A591). Proceed straight on at the next roundabout heading for Windermere and Ambleside. Set up in a remote spot with birdsong and farm animals as your morning soundtrack… Park Hill Farm is a scenic site on a dog-friendly working farm 10 minutes’ drive from Market Drayton, in north Shropshire. And in case you’re wondering just how scenic the location is… well, it overlooks the Cheshire Plains, Wrekin and the Welsh hills, as well as sitting alongside a woodland that is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The site is set up for wild camping – meaning back-to-basics facilities, and no electricity or showers., although we are hoping for 2025 to have showers installed for your use! There’s no WiFi, either, so instead of scrolling on their phones, children can let off steam in the fresh air and get involved in meeting the animals with the farmer (new friends may include pigs, cows and cats). We are a dog friendly site but you must ensure dogs are kept on a lead, we are situated close to wonderful woods and stunning countryside
